Horsing around all over town!!
I've mentioned before that Georgiana LOVES trains. She loves them so much, I believe she dreams about them. The other day, I went into her room to wake her up in the morning. I was rubbing her back gently and saying my usual morning greeting "good morning sunshine, are you ready to get up?"

Georgie rolled over and sleepily said "choo, choo" --absolutely priceless!!! She particularly loves the train in Arrowhead so we found ourselves making the trip up the hill again for lunch, choo choo, and duck feeding. This time we got 8 ride tix. G was in heaven, she got to ride the choo choo 4 times in a row. They have a small carousel up there as well. Last time we saw a carousel, G said she didn't want to ride but this time she was happy to do so.

This last weekend, we decided to go to the Santa Monica pier. I've lived in So Cal my whole life, been to the beach tons of times, of course, but for some reason never made it to Santa Monica. It was fun. No trains unfortunately but they have a gorgeous carousel. When G saw it she started running towards it screaming/screeching "Horsey, horsey!!!!" She was so excited! What a bargain too only $1 per ride for daddy and G!

By the time we got a bite to eat and rode the carousel, it was almost 2 o'clock which is really late for a little girl who takes a 2 hr nap at noon every single day like clockwork. But it seemed like a shame not to go down to the water so we forged ahead. I have to say, its been really HOT in our area the last week or so. We're talking 102 to 105 degrees every day. At 8 am, when I'm driving to work, its already like 82 degrees!! Eeek! When it gets hot like that, people swarm the beaches to hopes of finding some relief. As a result, I have never in my life seen the beach so crowded. It was unbelievable. The water was a "sea" of people. G didn't care. She sat down on the sand right at the edge of the water and every time the wave would hit her she'd scream and shriek and laugh! She was so happy. So, so cute.

When we got back in the car it took her, oh I don't know, all of 10 secs to fall asleep. That was a big day for little G.

Checking out the ducks and fish at the lake. G's getting really good at feeding them. Now when she throws the bread to the ducks it actually lands in the water instead of on the ground an inch or two in front of her feet!

G at lunch in Santa Monica. We went to the mexican place at the end of the pier. I think it was called Mariasol. Super tasty seafood enchiladas. We were going to eat outside but it was just too hot. G liked it because there were actually birds that came inside the restaraunt to eat broken chips that had fallen on the floor. All during lunch she said "Birdie, birdie!!!" FYI, she's not drinking soda, its water.

G's pretending that the horse is biting her fingers. She does this with her stuffed animals too. Its pretty funny.

Daddy's turn!

Each time that G went for a ride she'd have to carefully choose her horse. Bobby would start to put her on one and she'd say "noooo" he'd put her on another, "nooooo" etc until she found one that was just right! Apparantly, she's the Goldilocks of carousel horses.

G enjoying the beach. Ever since the weekend, G will randomly walk around the house saying "beach? beach? beach?" I think she liked it there!

Let's just say that G had a LOT of sand in her swimsuit at the end of he day. I mean, a LOT!
