Twenty-three ......
Another month down. I wish I could think of something profound to say. I wish I could think of something profound to think. But I can't, it just... is.

Twenty three months is a really long time. When we first applied in 8/05:

1. Bobby and I were both 39 --I'm now 41, Bobby's 42 (tomorrow).
2. Brett was just starting his junior year of high school --he's in college now.
3. Casey was starting the 9th grade --he's now halfway through his junior year.
4. Bobby's dad told us how much he looked forward to meeting "that little girl" --sadly Donnie passed away a year and a half ago.

If this adoption does ever happen, which is still a pretty big *if* at this point, I wonder what else will have changed in the meantime??

The waiting is horrible. Let's hope we all get through it, and can bring our children home some day.

Not "if" but when "it" happens we will celebrate right along side of you.

We'll point to the picture of your daughter and smile along with our Alyzabeth An... Dreams do come true. As will yours.
